ABOUT JULIE STAMENIC

“ It all started when moving to Norway…”

Julie was born and raised in Belgium. Since childhood, she has been spending countless hours outside often surrounded with horses.

In 2013, during her business studies, Julie moved to Norway for her Erasmus. She felt endless inspiration for the untouched landscapes of the country and started doing photography as a hobby. Later on, Julie travelled across the globe by herself to explore more raw places and capture the wildest elements of nature. This way, she kept developping her photography skills and refine her style.

After the pandemic, Julie started to accept her first professional photography assignments and currently works for a panel of local and international clients. In 2022, Canon selected her as one of their Young Talent which was an amazing kick to get her work seen by many. Julie’s photographs have been awarded with various prizes.

Today, Julie teaches photography to students and adults and gives inspirational talks in various events. Her goal is to spread her passion for photography and to raise awareness through her images about our planet and its inhabitants.
